What is the Prince George Backcountry Recreation Society?

We are an affiliation of backcountry recreation enthusiasts based out of Prince George, BC. The PGBRS is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that represents the interests of local non-motorized backcountry recreationalists.

The society is comprised of eight Prince George based member clubs. The primary mandate of the PGBRS is to promote and encourage safe non-motorized backcountry recreation in the Prince George region. We carry out this mandate by representing our member clubs and advocating on their behalf on important issues which impact non-motorized backcountry recreation values in our region.
