The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club operates the Otway Nordic Centre, located 10 minutes west of Prince George. Otway has 30 km of machine groomed trails for classic and skate skiing in the winter and an excellent selection of cross-country mountain biking trails for summer use. Five kilometers of trails are lit for night skiing until 9:30 pm in the winter. Recently, the Otway Nordic Centre has undergone big changes with a lodge expansion and facilities upgrade that include the installation of running water, washrooms, lounge area, rental shop and concession area. The club also has ungroomed touring trails at Tabor Mountain located approximately 30 min east of Prince George on Hwy #16.Visit their Homepage for more information.
