Our newest member, the Fraser Headwaters Alliance was formed in 1988 as the Robson Valley's first grassroots conservation organization. Their mission is to maintain and restore ecosystem health and support ecologically sustainable human communities and economies in the Fraser Headwaters bioregion. The Fraser Headwaters Alliance was formed to serve as an umbrella organization for groups concerned about conservation issues in the headwaters of the Fraser River. Many of the people currently involved in FHA have been with the organization since 1988, while others have joined their ranks more recently. Their focus allies well with the outdoor interests of the PGBRS as we all share a love for our home place and a commitment to preserve the natural and cultural legacy of the Fraser headwaters region.
