Blessed with great whitewater, gentle rivers, and large lakes systems, the Northwest Brigade Paddling Club encourages and facilitates world class paddling experiences in the Prince George region. The club is made up of enthusiastic paddlers who are eager to share their experience to new and experienced paddlers. The club organizes several events through the year to equip paddlers with the skills and knowledge to explore our waterways. The club hosts pool sessions, every March at the Four Seasons Pool in Prince George, to teach and develop essential paddling skills. The club also hosts an annual ‘paddlefest’, a long-running tradition where paddlers from around the province converge on local rivers. The club has published “Canoeing and Kayaking BC’s Central Interior”; a paddling guidebook covering the best river and lake trips from Clearwater to Mackenzie and from Jasper to Smithers.
