The Prince George Naturalist Club is a member of the Federation of British Columbia Naturalists whose motto is “to know nature and to keep it worth knowing”. If you are interested in the natural environment in our region, the Prince George Naturalists can provide you with the opportunity to connect with a strong community of like-minded people. The club organizes walks, hikes, and other outings to discover and learn more about our natural environment. Bird watching activities are main focus of the club who maintains and distributes the North Central BC Birds Checklist. We participate in the annual Christmas Bird Count and other birding surveys. Conservation and stewardship activities are also a club focus. Our quarterly newsletter, BC Naturalist, is filled with news, events, and fascinating articles on our province’s natural wonders.
