Red Mountain

This Red Mountain Cabin is located east of Prince George, BC above the community of Penny and the Fraser River. It is situated in the subalpine just west of Red Mountain and offers excellent summer hiking and winter backcountry skiing opportunities. Winter skiing is superb with a range of terrain from beginner 700 ft ski runs near the cabin to expert 2000 ft alpine ski runs in steep, large mountain bowls.

Eight Mile Cabin

The Eight Mile cabin is located in the Sugarbowl-Grizzly Den Provincial Park and is a large log cabin located just a few hundred meters from the Grizzly Den trailhead in a densely forested area. Historically, it has been used as a mid-way cabin for skiers and hikers travelling to the Grizzly Den cabin and is suitable for larger overnight groups.

Grizzly Den Cabin

The Grizzly Den cabin is located in the Sugarbowl-Grizzly Den Provincial Park east of Prince George. This cabin offers great access to nearby ridges and alpine meadows and is part of a very pleasant all-season traverse between the Eight Mile and Raven Lake cabins.

Raven Lake Cabin

The Raven Lake cabin is located in the Sugarbowl-Grizzly Den Provincial Park and is situated in the sub-alpine on Raven Lake. It is the most popular cabin of the three cabins in the park and can be reached via the traverse from the Grizzly Den Cabin, or more commonly from the Raven Lake trailhead from the Hungary Creek forest service road.

Treeline and Troll Lake Cabins

The Treeline and Troll Lake Cabins are located on Tabor Mountain just 15 minutes east of Prince George. They are available on a first-come-first-served basis for overnight use. There is no wood and very few amenities at these cabins. The Treeline Cabin is managed by the UNBC Outdoors Club. Please contact the PGBRS for more details.

Mount Murray/Waverly Cabins
